About the role
Join Barclays’ two-year Operations Analyst Graduate Programme in London, completing three eight-month rotations across banking operations. You will support transaction processing, KYC, reconciliations, incident management and process improvement while receiving structured training and developing expertise across investment, corporate and retail banking operations.
Programme Details
- Two-year Explorer Programme comprising three eight-month rotations across operations teams.
- Job-based bespoke training begins immediately and continues through training and development programmes.
- The programme runs from August 2027 to August 2029 in London.

Responsibilities
- Perform KYC tasks in accordance with Client Due Diligence and anti-money laundering procedures.
- Monitor transaction flows, trade updates and exception queues for accurate, timely trade representation.
- Support incident, problem and change management activities to improve services across the bank.
- Contribute to operational process improvements, best practices, systems enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perform cleared-derivatives fee reconciliations and complex customer- and product-related processing activities.
- Manage operational risks, strengthen controls, escalate policy breaches and support implementation of new procedures.
Candidate Requirements
- Hold, or expect to achieve, a strong degree before June 2027.
- Demonstrate a customer-first mindset, curiosity and the ability to adapt quickly.
- Be willing to explore new technologies and translate complex data into clear, compelling stories.
- Apply technical expertise, detailed analysis and sound judgement to resolve operational problems.
- Collaborate with colleagues, stakeholders and other business functions while communicating complex or sensitive information.
