About the role

Barclays’ 10-week Compliance Analyst Summer Internship in London offers penultimate-year students hands-on experience across compliance risk management. Interns support regulatory adherence, product and service advice, data-led monitoring, risk insight, and stakeholder training while researching risks, analysing information, and working with teams across the bank. The programme runs June to August 2027.

Responsibilities

• Support businesses in adhering to Barclays’ Compliance risk management framework.
• Advise colleagues on regulations relating to specific products and services.
• Use data and analytics to monitor and influence the compliance risk landscape proactively.
• Develop compliance risk insight across laws, rules and regulations, financial crime, and conduct.
• Train business stakeholders and partner with functions and business areas.
• Escalate policy or procedure breaches and help embed risk-mitigation policies and controls.

Programme and Location

• Complete a 10-week summer internship involving hands-on experience on real projects.
• Receive full support while taking on meaningful responsibilities and building professional connections.
• Work from Barclays’ Canary Wharf global headquarters in London.
• Any graduate return offer will be based at the same location as the internship.
