About the role
Join Barclays’ International Corporate Banking Graduate Programme in Paris, supporting client relationships, treasury coverage, lending, trade finance and cash management solutions. You will develop financial modelling, credit analysis, deal execution and client-management skills, work with senior bankers, and contribute to sustainable growth initiatives in a collaborative global environment.
Responsibilities
- Support client relationship management, including queries, onboarding, and proposals for cash management, trade finance, and lending solutions.
- Identify and manage opportunities involving International Corporate Banking products and services within Global Treasury Coverage.
- Prepare meeting materials, research sector themes, and collaborate with teams across the Investment Bank.
- Support credit analysis, financial modelling, internal committees, documentation, and the end-to-end deal process.
- Identify new product opportunities, contribute to business cases, and support initiatives aligned with sustainability and growth objectives.
- Embed risk controls, follow policies, escalate breaches, and contribute to continuous improvement.
Programme and Team
- Work with global clients, senior bankers, and experienced colleagues in a supportive, collaborative International Corporate Banking environment.
- Develop knowledge of lending, trade finance, cash management, liquidity, digital banking, and hedging solutions.
- Participate in structured learning covering financial modelling, credit skills, client management, treasury products, and CIB solutions.
- Receive support from a manager, coach, and buddy while building professional skills through mentorship and feedback.
- International Corporate Banking combines corporate and investment banking capabilities to develop lasting client relationships and tailored solutions.
Candidate Profile
- Applicants must hold, or expect to hold, a degree in any subject.
- Fluency in English and French is required.
- Interest in finance and business, proactive communication, resourcefulness, teamwork, enthusiasm, and an entrepreneurial spirit are valued.
- Extracurricular involvement may demonstrate relevant motivation, teamwork, enthusiasm, and entrepreneurial qualities.
