About the role
Join Barclays’ International Corporate Banking Graduate Programme in Frankfurt, supporting global corporate clients and senior bankers across lending, cash management, trade finance, liquidity, digital banking, and hedging solutions. Develop financial modelling, credit, treasury coverage, deal execution, and client management skills while contributing to growth, innovation, sustainability, and risk controls.
Responsibilities
- Support client relationship teams with queries, onboarding, and proposals for cash management, trade finance, and lending.
- Identify and manage Global Treasury Coverage opportunities alongside senior bankers.
- Prepare meeting materials, research sector themes, and collaborate with teams across the Investment Bank.
- Support end-to-end deal processes, including credit analysis, financial modelling, committees, and facility documentation.
- Identify product and service opportunities, contribute to business cases, and assist sustainability- and growth-aligned initiatives.
- Embed risk controls, follow policies, and escalate breaches appropriately.
Programme and Team
- Work with global clients and senior bankers in a supportive, collaborative, fast-paced International Corporate Banking division.
- The bank provides support from a manager, coach, and buddy throughout the programme.
- The division provides lending, trade finance, cash management, liquidity, digital banking, and hedging solutions.
Training and Development
- Structured learning covers credit skills, client management, and treasury coverage products.
- Develop financial modelling, CIB product knowledge, deal execution, and soft client management skills.
- Learn about products including foreign exchange, debt capital markets, and Barclaycard.
