About the role
Join Barclays’ London Global Transaction Banking Graduate Programme in August 2027. You will help develop payment solutions and products for corporate clients, conduct research, support strategic decisions, manage client queries and process transactions. The programme offers cross-functional exposure across banking, technology, operations, sales, risk, compliance and legal teams.
Responsibilities
- Conduct small research projects and prepare presentations and reports supporting strategic Transaction Banking decisions.
- Help develop payment solutions and manage products end to end, including risk controls.
- Identify opportunities, build business cases, and support deployment and launch of new products and services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior management to implement findings and business initiatives.
- Support client relationships, answer product questions, provide customer service, and process transactions with decreasing supervision.
Development and Exposure
- Receive training and development designed to build Transaction Banking skills and product knowledge.
- Gain exposure to technology, digital, customer experience, data, sales, liquidity, trade, cash management, FX, structuring, operations and control.
- Work with colleagues across Investment Banking, Corporate Banking, sales, operations, technology, relationship management, compliance and legal.
- Develop understanding of corporate and commercial banking, global commerce, and working-capital solutions.
