About the role
Join Barclays’ Stockholm Banking Off-Cycle Internship for three to six months, supporting live deals, client pitches, financial analysis, modelling, valuation and industry research. You will gain broad exposure to investment banking clients, transactions and specialist areas while developing skills through training, networking and collaboration across teams.
Responsibilities
- Support live deals and client pitches, advising corporate clients and developing structured solutions for client goals.
- Perform financial analysis, modelling, valuation and industry research.
- Conduct client due diligence and prepare offering memoranda and new business presentations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on business initiatives and investment banking product launches.
- Support client relationships, answer product and service questions, and process transactions under decreasing supervision.
- Develop financial models and strategies to support investment banking decisions.
Programme and Team
- Work within a Barclays Banking team in Stockholm for an extended three-to-six-month internship.
- Gain broad exposure to different clients, transactions, sectors, products and specialist investment banking areas.
- Participate in training and development programmes designed to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Receive support and networking opportunities while working with professionals covering the Nordic region.
- The Stockholm office serves corporate, governmental and institutional clients with advisory, financing and risk management solutions.
Requirements
- Be in the penultimate or final year of a degree in any discipline.
- Be fluent in English and one of Swedish, Norwegian, Danish or Finnish.
- Show interest in business and finance and curiosity to learn.
- Demonstrate resourcefulness, teamwork, enthusiasm and an entrepreneurial spirit.
- Extracurricular activities may help demonstrate relevant personal qualities.
