About the role
Barclays’ Paris Banking Graduate Programme places graduates in Coverage and M&A teams, advising corporate clients on strategic transactions and solutions. After several weeks of intensive training, you will work on live deals and business development projects, developing skills in financial modelling, valuation, research, strategic assessment, client communication and relationship management.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate on live deals and client pitches for a broad range of corporate clients.
- Support teams in delivering structured investment banking solutions aligned with client goals.
- Conduct financial analysis, modelling, valuation, industry research and strategic business assessments.
- Develop business cases and support new investment banking products and services.
- Manage client relationships, answer product and service questions, and support transaction processing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on business initiatives and decision-making strategies.
Programme Structure
- Complete several weeks of intensive training before joining an industry, product or geographic group.
- Work in small deal teams on live transactions and business development projects.
- Gain exposure to different clients, transactions and specialist investment banking areas.
Team and Location
- Work with Barclays’ Country Coverage, Sector and M&A teams in Paris.
- Support corporate clients through mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, structured solutions and risk management.
