About the role

An eight- to ten-week Investment Banking Associate internship in San Francisco for MBA students graduating between December 2027 and June 2028. Interns work on live deals and proposals, support corporate clients, develop financial models, conduct valuation and research, and receive training, mentoring, and exposure to specialist banking teams.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on live deals, client pitches, and proposals supporting corporate client advisory and structured solutions.
• Perform financial analysis, modelling, valuation, industry research, and client due diligence.
• Develop written materials, including offering memoranda and new business presentations.
• Support financial models and strategies used for investment banking decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to business initiatives, products, and services.
• Manage client relationships and respond to questions about products, services, and transactions under decreasing supervision.

Development

• Participate in training and development programs to enhance investment banking skills and knowledge.
• Receive guidance from a mentor and line manager throughout the internship.
• Gain exposure to different clients, transactions, industry groups, product groups, and geographic groups.
• Learn transaction execution and how businesses operate from experienced industry professionals.

Program Details

• The internship takes place during summer 2027 in an eight- to ten-week program.
