About the role
Graduate analyst role in Barclays’ Investment Banking division in New York, supporting live deals, client pitches, financial analysis, modelling, valuation, industry research and strategic assessments. The program begins with several weeks of intensive training, followed by placement in an industry, product or geographic group and immediate exposure to deal and business-development work.
Responsibilities
- Support live deals, client pitches and advice for corporate clients, delivering structured solutions aligned with client goals.
- Perform financial analysis and modelling, valuation, industry research, business evaluation and strategic assessment.
- Develop financial models and strategies supporting investment-banking decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on business initiatives and business-development projects.
- Identify opportunities, develop business cases, and support new investment-banking products and services.
- Manage client relationships, answer product and service questions, and process transactions under decreasing supervision.
Program And Development
- Complete several weeks of intensive training before joining an industry, product or geographic group.
- Work immediately on live deals and business-development projects within small deal teams.
- Gain exposure to varied clients, transactions and specialist investment-banking areas.
- Participate in training and development programs to strengthen relevant skills and knowledge.
Location And Eligibility
- Work at Barclays’ Americas Headquarters, 745 Seventh Avenue, in Times Square, Manhattan.
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work full-time in the United States.
- Applicants are responsible for documentation supporting optional practical training or curricular practical training.
- This role is regulated by FINRA.
