About the role
Join Barclays’ 1–2-year Technology Developer Expert Graduate Program in Wilmington, Delaware. You will design, develop, test, and improve secure, scalable software while collaborating with product managers, designers, and engineers. The program provides bespoke training and opportunities to build specialist technical expertise supporting banking technology and digital infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver high-quality, scalable, maintainable, and performance-optimized software solutions.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define requirements and align solutions with business objectives.
- Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and cross-functional collaboration to promote software quality.
- Apply secure coding practices to protect sensitive data and mitigate vulnerabilities.
- Implement effective unit testing to support reliable, readable, and well-designed code.
- Manage risks, follow relevant policies and regulations, and escalate breaches appropriately.
