About the role
Ten-week Compliance Analyst internship in Whippany, New Jersey, offering hands-on experience across compliance risk management, regulatory advisory, data analytics, financial crime, conduct, surveillance, controls, and stakeholder training. Interns support business adherence to regulations, investigate risks, and develop insight while building banking knowledge and professional connections.
Responsibilities
- Support business adherence to the Compliance risk management framework.
- Provide advice on regulations affecting specific products and services.
- Use data and analytics to monitor and influence compliance risks.
- Develop insight into laws, rules, regulations, financial crime, and conduct.
- Help train business stakeholders and strengthen compliance controls.
- Escalate policy breaches and embed new risk-mitigation procedures.
Candidate profile
- Must be graduating between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Must have a minimum GPA of 3.2.
- Demonstrate genuine interest in Compliance and an enthusiastic mindset.
- Bring a customer-first attitude, adaptability, and willingness to learn technologies.
- Use analysis, attention to detail, and sound judgement to resolve problems.
- Communicate complex or sensitive information and collaborate with stakeholders.

- The internship lasts 10 weeks and is based in Whippany, New Jersey.
