About the role

Join Barclays’ 2027 Banking Associate Graduate Program in New York, supporting Real Estate, Gaming and Lodging investment banking teams. After several weeks of intensive training, you will work on live deals and business development projects, conducting financial analysis, modelling, valuation, research, strategic assessment, and client communications within small deal teams.

Responsibilities

  • Support live deals, client pitches, and advisory assignments for a broad range of corporate clients.
  • Conduct financial analysis, modelling, valuation, industry research, and strategic business assessments.
  • Develop business ideas, business cases, and financial strategies supporting investment banking decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on business initiatives, products, services, and client relationship management.
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders, responding to questions about products, services, and transactions.
  • Identify opportunities, manage risk, and strengthen controls related to investment banking activities.

Program and Training

  • Complete several weeks of intensive training before joining an industry, product, or geographic group.
  • Work immediately on live deals and business development projects within small deal teams.
  • Gain exposure to different clients, transactions, and specialist investment banking areas.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance professional skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Be pursuing an MBA degree and graduating between December 2026 and June 2027.
  • Demonstrate a keen interest in business and finance, together with curiosity to learn.

Location and Compensation

  • The role is based at Barclays’ Americas Headquarters, 745 Seventh Avenue, New York City.
  • Base salary is $175,000; the stated amount excludes other compensation and available benefits.
  • This role is regulated by FINRA.
