About the role
The Barclays Banking Analyst Graduate Program in Houston offers recent or soon-to-be graduates intensive training followed by placement in an industry, product, or geographic investment banking group. Analysts support live deals, client pitches, financial modelling, valuation, research, strategic assessment, business development, and client relationship activities across corporate finance and advisory assignments.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate on live deals and client pitches, supporting advice for a broad range of corporate clients.
- Perform financial analysis and modelling, valuation, industry research, business evaluation, and strategic assessment.
- Support business development, including opportunity identification, business cases, and new product or service launches.
- Manage client relationships, respond to product and service questions, and process transactions with decreasing supervision.
- Work with cross-functional teams and develop financial models and strategies supporting investment banking decisions.
- Follow relevant policies, regulations, and codes of conduct while managing risks and escalating breaches appropriately.
Program And Training
- Complete several weeks of intensive training before joining an industry, product, or geographic investment banking group.
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs to build technical knowledge and professional skills.
- Work within small deal teams on live transactions and business development projects from an early stage.
- Gain exposure to different clients, transactions, investment banking products, and specialist areas.
Requirements
- Be in the final year of an undergraduate degree program.
- Demonstrate motivation, curiosity, and a keen interest in business and finance.
- Bring resourcefulness, teamwork, enthusiasm, and an entrepreneurial spirit.
- Be currently authorized to work full-time in the United States.
- Complete any required OPT or CPT documentation independently, where applicable.

- The role is based at Barclays’ Houston office at 609 Main Street.
- The position is regulated by FINRA.
