About the role
Barclays’ International Corporate Banking Analyst Graduate Program provides experience supporting global corporate clients through lending, cash management, trade finance, and treasury solutions. Analysts work with senior bankers on relationships, credit analysis, financial modelling, deal execution, and business development while receiving structured training, mentorship, and sponsorship for selected professional qualifications.
Role and Responsibilities
- Support client relationships, including queries, onboarding, and proposals for cash management, trade finance, and lending solutions.
- Identify and manage opportunities within Global Treasury Coverage alongside senior bankers and International Corporate Banking teams.
- Prepare meeting materials, research sector themes, and collaborate with teams across the Investment Bank.
- Support credit analysis, financial modelling, internal committees, and documentation for debt facilities and treasury solutions.
- Contribute to new products, business cases, and initiatives aligned with sustainability and growth objectives.
- Embed risk controls, follow policies, escalate breaches, and support continuous improvement.
Training and Development
- Complete structured learning in financial modelling, credit skills, client management, treasury coverage, and corporate and investment banking products.
- Learn about products including foreign exchange, debt capital markets, and Barclaycard solutions.
- Develop understanding of the end-to-end deal process, execution, and client management skills.
- Receive support from a manager, coach, buddy, senior bankers, and experienced colleagues.
- Barclays sponsors professional qualifications for the SIE, Series 63, and Series 79 examinations.
Requirements and Eligibility
- Be a recent graduate or soon-to-be graduate with a degree or expected degree in any subject.
- Be motivated, curious, and interested in finance and business.
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work full-time in the United States.
- Applicants using OPT or CPT are responsible for completing all required documentation independently.
- The role is regulated by FINRA and requires adherence to applicable policies, regulations, and codes of conduct.
