About the role
Barclays’ Frankfurt graduate programme develops analysts for Sales, Trading and Structuring across global markets. Following intensive initial training, graduates join a specific desk as a salesperson or trader, supporting client solutions, market analysis, pricing, trade ideas, reporting, P&L analysis and trading-book risk management.
Programme
- Join a specific Sales or Trading desk after intensive initial training.
- Business areas include Equities, Credit, Rates, Foreign Exchange, Commodities, Structuring and Securitised Products.
- Develop communication, quantitative, analytical and global markets knowledge throughout the programme.
Responsibilities
- Analyse client needs, develop solutions, monitor markets and formulate trade ideas.
- Perform fundamental and technical analysis and attend client meetings with sales, trading and research colleagues.
- Participate in product pricing, trade reporting, P&L analysis and trading-book risk management.
- Support research projects, strategic decisions, presentations, reports and new product development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide client service, transaction processing and product support.
Requirements
- Degree or expected degree in any subject area.
- Fluent English and German are required.
- Motivated, curious, interested in business and finance, and keen to develop technical skills.
- Good work ethic and willingness to learn and develop.
Additional Information
- The role is based in Barclays’ Frankfurt office in the Taunus Turm business district.
- Graduates participate in training and development programmes to enhance skills and knowledge.
