About the role
The 3–6-month Capital Markets Off-Cycle Internship in Paris offers penultimate- and final-year students practical exposure to investment banking. Interns may contribute to live deals, proposals, presentations, research, financial models, client support and product initiatives while learning from experienced professionals across equity and debt origination, loans, structuring, risk management and syndication.
Responsibilities
- Conduct research projects supporting strategic decision-making and prepare presentations or reports communicating findings.
- Support live deals, deal proposals, new business presentations and transaction execution activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to capital markets business initiatives.
- Help identify opportunities, develop business cases and support new product or service launches.
- Assist with client relationships, customer queries, transaction processing and structured solutions.
- Support development and implementation of financial models and strategies for capital markets decisions.
Division exposure
- Potential business areas include Debt Capital Markets, Risk Solutions Group, Equity Capital Markets, Leveraged Finance and Syndicate.
- Work with industry experts and contribute to substantial projects within the Capital Markets division.
- Gain exposure to corporate clients and holistic, structured financial solutions.

- The internship lasts between three and six months.

Candidate profile
- Applicants must be in their penultimate or final year of a degree in any discipline.
- Fluency in English and French is required.
- Interest in business and finance, curiosity to learn and an entrepreneurial spirit are valued.
- Resourcefulness, teamwork and enthusiasm may be demonstrated through extracurricular activities.
