About the role
Join Barclays in Milan for a three-to-six-month Investment Banking internship. Work on live deals, client pitches, financial analysis, valuations, research, and transaction materials while gaining broad exposure to clients, sectors, products, and specialist Banking teams. The programme offers training, networking, and insight into life as a full-time Analyst.
Responsibilities
- Support live deals and client pitches, advising corporate clients with structured solutions to meet their goals.
- Perform financial analysis, modelling, valuation, industry research, and client due diligence.
- Prepare offering memoranda, new-business presentations, and other written client materials.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support business initiatives, products, and services.
- Manage client relationships and provide transaction and customer-service support under decreasing supervision.
- Participate in training and development, gaining exposure to clients, transactions, sectors, products, and specialist Banking areas.
Working Expectations
- Complete assigned routine and specific tasks with a focus on quality execution.
- Follow relevant rules, regulations, procedures, and codes of conduct, escalating policy breaches when required.
- Take ownership of risks and controls relating to assigned responsibilities and contributed work.
- Make straightforward judgments using defined alternatives and demonstrate knowledge of applicable procedures.
