About the role
Join Barclays’ Investment Banking Graduate Programme in Milan, supporting Coverage and M&A teams on live transactions and business development projects. You will advise corporate clients, develop financial models, conduct valuations and research, and help deliver solutions involving M&A, capital raising, structured solutions and risk management.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate on live deals, client pitches and advice for a broad range of corporate clients.
- Perform financial analysis, modelling, valuation, industry research and strategic business assessments.
- Support business development, opportunity identification, business cases and new product or service launches.
- Manage client relationships, answer product and service questions, and support transaction processing.
- Work with cross-functional teams and contribute to investment banking initiatives and decision-making.
- Develop financial models and strategies while building understanding of businesses, products and specialist areas.
Programme and Training
- Complete several weeks of intensive training before joining an industry, product or geographic group.
- Work within small deal teams on demanding assignments and live transactions from an early stage.
- Participate in ongoing training and development programmes to strengthen relevant skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- Hold, or expect to obtain, a degree in any subject area.
- Be fluent in English and Italian.
- Demonstrate motivation, curiosity, interest in business and finance, and a strong work ethic.
- Show eagerness to learn and develop skills supporting high-quality client solutions.
