About the role
The Frankfurt Banking Graduate Programme offers recent or soon-to-be graduates intensive initial training and immediate exposure to live investment banking deals. Working with Coverage and M&A teams, graduates support financial analysis, valuation, research, client pitches and strategic solutions for corporate clients across transactions, capital raising and related advisory work.
Responsibilities
- Work in Country Coverage, Sector and M&A teams on live deals and business development projects.
- Support client pitches and advise corporate clients on M&A, capital raising, structured solutions and risk management.
- Perform financial analysis, modelling, valuation, industry research, business evaluation and strategic assessment.
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders while supporting client relationships and transaction-related questions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, identify opportunities and help develop business cases for new products and services.
- Develop financial models and strategies that support investment banking decision-making.
Training and Development
- Complete several weeks of intensive training before joining an industry, product or geographic group.
- Participate in training and development programmes to enhance investment banking skills and knowledge.
- Work in small deal teams and gain broad exposure to clients, transactions and specialist areas.
Requirements
- Be a recent graduate or soon-to-be graduate with a degree or expected degree in any subject.
- Demonstrate motivation and curiosity.
- Show an interest in business and finance, a strong work ethic and willingness to develop skills.
