About the role
This 3–6-month off-cycle internship in Geneva supports Barclays Private Bank and Wealth Management. You will work with experienced private bankers, analysing clients and markets, preparing materials, supporting credit and onboarding due diligence, attending meetings, and learning how tailored banking and investment solutions serve high-net-worth clients.
Responsibilities
- Perform financial analysis of prospective clients and conduct research supporting strategic decisions.
- Prepare client presentations, memoranda, reports, and other materials communicating research findings.
- Support credit assessments, onboarding due diligence, transactions, and client service activities.
- Attend client meetings with experienced bankers and help address questions about products and services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on business initiatives and new product or service opportunities.
- Develop business cases and support financial models, strategies, product deployment, and launches.
Learning and development
- Participate in training and development programmes to enhance relevant skills and knowledge.
- Build expertise in international financial markets and private banking solutions.
- Network and build relationships across Barclays’ global organisation.
- Work closely with experienced private bankers serving high-net-worth clients and their advisors.
Business and location
