About the role
The Global Technology Summer Analyst programme in Chester offers hands-on experience delivering software solutions across Bank of America’s global network and core platforms. Interns will design, develop, test, and release applications while exploring AI-assisted development, supported by formal training, mentorship, speaker events, and on-the-job learning.
Team and Programme
- Global Technology develops and supports applications and infrastructure for trading, payments, mobile, and end-user technology.
- The programme provides real delivery experience as a full-time Technology Analyst within the global network or core platforms team.
- Formal training begins the programme, followed by on-the-job support, educational speaker events, and mentorship.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain technology applications using Java, C++, .NET, Python, web services, and AI-assisted development tools.
- Evaluate and promote responsible AI use across development, complying with enterprise security, privacy, risk, and governance standards.
- Translate client requirements into technical designs and support business process reengineering.
- Code solutions, complete unit tests, and ensure robust, well-tested interfaces integrate successfully with wider applications.
- Contribute to CI/CD releases through pull requests, issue triage, conflict resolution, design documents, and release notes.
Post-programme Opportunity
- Strong interns may receive full-time offers starting July 2028; January or April starts may be available, with no deferrals.
