Global Capital Markets 2027, Off-Cycle Analyst (Debt Capital Markets) – London

About the role

Join Bank of America’s London Debt Capital Markets team as an off-cycle analyst supporting advisory, structuring, origination and execution of debt financing solutions. You will work on live transactions with clients and teams across the bank, covering bonds, loans, capital products, liability management, and FX and rates solutions.

Responsibilities

• Assist DCM professionals with deal origination and execution across diverse product areas.
• Support clients and senior management by developing DCM financing solutions across bonds, loans, FX and rates.
• Develop market understanding and contribute to financing strategies tailored to client objectives.
• Prepare tailored client presentations, including regulatory capital and capital-stack optimisation solutions for banks.
• Work on live transactions with Investment Banking, Corporate Banking, Global Markets, sales, trading and Research.
• Coordinate deal execution and monitor market developments through collaboration across the bank.

Training and Development

• Receive extensive formal training at the programme’s start, supported by on-the-job learning.
• Participate in educational speaker events and receive mentorship throughout the programme.

Eligibility

• Hold or pursue a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Graduates must have graduated after January 2026.
• Current students must complete all final requirements before July 2027.
• Achieve or be on track for a minimum 2:1 degree classification or equivalent.
• Be available from 11 January 2027 for four months, with a potential two-month extension.
• If offered a full-time role, be available to join the graduate programme in July 2027; deferred starts are unavailable.
