About the role
Bank of America’s Strategy & Management Summer Associate internship offers graduate students exposure to strategic initiatives across Product, Digital, and Small Business. Interns conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis, develop recommendations, and present solutions while working with senior leaders. The internship previews a two-year development program focused on strategy, innovation, digital technologies, FinTech, and management.
Responsibilities
- Support high-priority strategic initiatives spanning Product, Digital, Small Business, and other business units.
- Design and execute qualitative or quantitative analyses to test and assess hypotheses.
- Synthesize findings, develop recommendations, and communicate solutions to internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with high-performing peers and leaders within project teams.
- Build business and client understanding through exposure to senior leaders and industry experts.
- Participate in firm-sponsored volunteer and environmental, social, and governance initiatives.
Program Experience
- Receive an exclusive preview of Bank of America’s two-year Strategy and Management development program.
- Gain exposure to digital technologies, FinTech, strategy, innovation, and management.
- Work within Bank of America Strategy and Business Ventures, an internal strategic consulting function.
- Access training from Bank of America and industry experts focused on general manager capabilities.
- Develop skills in research, modeling, presentations, problem-solving, data visualization, and storytelling.
Working Arrangements
- Locations include Charlotte, North Carolina; Boston, Massachusetts; and New York, New York.
- This is a full-time position with a schedule of 40 hours per week.
- The role operates on the first shift and may require travel as needed.
- Candidates accepting a subsequent full-time opportunity must be geographically flexible.
