About the role

This four-month Investment Banking off-cycle Analyst programme joins Bank of America’s London TMT team, supporting M&A, capital raising and leveraged finance assignments. You will develop through formal training, mentorship and live transaction work, using financial analysis, valuation, modelling and market research for client deliverables.

Role and responsibilities

  • Support M&A, private and public capital raises, including IPOs, and leveraged finance assignments.
  • Perform valuation, benchmarking and financial modelling for transaction execution and client deliverables.
  • Prepare client presentations, pitch materials and supporting financial analysis.
  • Research companies, industries and markets for strategic and transaction-related work.
  • Interact with international deal team members, clients, investment banks and other advisers.
  • Help deliver client solutions by leveraging the bank’s broader capabilities.

Team

  • The TMT team covers AI, software, internet, media, telecommunications and digital infrastructure across the bank’s products.

Programme and training

  • The programme provides broad experience across Investment Banking.
  • Training includes extensive formal instruction, on-the-job support, educational speaker events and mentorship.

Eligibility and availability

  • Candidates must hold or pursue a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Graduates must have graduated after January 2026; current students must complete their degree before July 2027.
  • Candidates should be on track for a minimum 2:1 degree classification or equivalent.
  • Availability is required from Monday 11th January for four months, with a possible two-month extension; deferred starts are unavailable.
