About the role
The Madrid Off-Cycle Analyst internship offers exposure to investment banking industry, country and product coverage teams. Analysts support client solutions, financial analysis, presentations and transaction execution across corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions and capital markets, with formal training, mentorship and potential full-time employment after successful completion.
Role and Team
- Work with industry, country and product coverage teams across Investment Banking.
- Support solutions covering corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions and capital markets advice.
- Collaborate with clients, other investment banks and external advisers during transactions.
Responsibilities
- Prepare client presentations and supporting financial analysis.
- Contribute to projects alongside investment bankers across coverage groups.
- Help deliver client solutions using the bank’s capabilities.
- Build relationships, knowledge and experience supporting future career opportunities.
- Participate actively in transaction execution and client-related work.
Training and Development
- Complete extensive formal training at the start of the programme.
- Receive on-the-job support, educational speaker events and mentorship throughout the internship.
Eligibility
- Pursue an undergraduate or postgraduate degree at an accredited college or university.
- Complete the degree between January 2026 and July 2028, with no outstanding graduation requirements.
- Be on track for a minimum 2:1 degree classification or equivalent.
- Be available for a potential full-time start in July 2028, or January or April where offered.
- Deferrals are not available for offered start dates.
