About the role

Join Bank of America’s London Financial Institutions Group as a 2027 Off-cycle Analyst for four months, with a possible two-month extension. Support strategic M&A, corporate finance and capital-markets work across financial-services sectors, gaining client exposure, global experience, formal training and mentorship while contributing to presentations, analysis and transaction execution.

About the Team

• The EMEA Financial Institutions Group comprises approximately 50 professionals advising financial-services clients.
• Coverage includes banking and insurance, FinTech, asset and wealth management, exchanges, and specialty finance.
• The team offers client access from day one, global exposure, and a balance of origination and execution.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside bankers in industry, product, and country coverage groups on client projects.
• Help deliver client solutions using the bank’s full range of capabilities.
• Prepare client presentations and supporting financial analysis.
• Participate in transaction execution with clients, investment banks, and other advisers.
• Build relationships, knowledge, and experience supporting future career opportunities.

Training and Development

• Complete extensive formal training at the start of the programme.
• Receive on-the-job support, educational speaker events, and mentorship throughout the programme.

Eligibility and Recruitment

• Hold or pursue a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Graduates must have graduated after January 2026; current students must complete requirements before July 2027.
• Be on track for a minimum 2:1 degree classification or equivalent.
• Be available from Monday 11 January for four months, with a possible two-month extension.
• Full-time offer recipients must join the graduate programme from July 2027; deferred starts are unavailable.
• Applications and assessments proceed on a rolling basis, with assessments potentially beginning before the deadline.
