About the role

Six-month Investment Banking Off-Cycle Analyst internship in Dubai, supporting Bank of America’s MENA team across industry, product and country coverage. Gain experience in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, financial analysis and transaction execution, with formal training, mentorship and potential full-time opportunities.

About the Team

  • The MENA Investment Banking division is a generalist team covering multiple sectors across the GCC region.
  • Coverage teams work across Dubai, Riyadh and Qatar to advise clients on strategic and financial matters.
  • The team provides corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions and capital markets advice.

Responsibilities

  • Work alongside bankers in industry, product and country coverage groups on client projects.
  • Help deliver client solutions by leveraging the bank’s capabilities.
  • Prepare client presentations and supporting financial analysis.
  • Participate in transaction execution with clients, investment banks and other advisors.
  • Build relationships, knowledge and experience for future career opportunities.

Training and Development

  • Complete extensive formal training at the start of the programme.
  • Receive on-the-job support, educational speaker events and mentorship throughout the internship.

Eligibility and Requirements

  • Pursue an undergraduate or postgraduate degree at an accredited college or university.
  • Graduate between January 2026 and July 2028 and remain on track for at least a 2:1 degree classification.
  • Be available to join between January and July 2026 for six months.
  • Demonstrate fluency in English and genuine interest in the GCC region.
  • Show analytical, problem-solving, teamwork, leadership and creative skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understand financial modelling, corporate finance, valuation concepts and the GCC investment banking landscape.

Recruitment Process

  • Analyst internship recruitment takes place on a rolling basis once applications open.
  • Assessments may begin before the deadline, so early application is recommended.
  • Strong internship performers may receive full-time employment commencing in July 2028, or potentially January or April.
  • Successful candidates must be available for the offered start date; deferrals are not available.
