About the role
Join Bank of America’s London Consumer and Retail EMEA team as a 2027 Off-cycle Analyst. Support industry coverage and live M&A, debt and equity transactions through client presentations, financial analysis and execution. The four-month programme offers formal training, on-the-job support, speaker events, mentorship and potential extension.
Team and Role
- Work with the EMEA Consumer and Retail team across consumer, retail, digital commerce, and food and beverage sectors.
- Gain exposure to industry coverage, transaction execution, idea generation, and M&A, debt, and equity products.
- Collaborate with Consumer and Retail professionals across London and international offices.
Responsibilities
- Work alongside bankers in industry, product, and country coverage groups on client projects.
- Help deliver client solutions by leveraging the bank’s capabilities.
- Prepare client presentations and supporting financial analysis.
- Participate in transaction execution with clients, investment banks, and other advisers.
- Build relationships, knowledge, and experience supporting future career opportunities.
Training and Programme Details
- Receive extensive formal training at the programme’s start, alongside on-the-job support.
- Attend educational speaker events and receive mentorship throughout the programme.
- Join Monday 11 January for four months, with an option to extend by two months.
- Full-time graduate programme start date, if offered, is July 2027, with no deferred starts available.
Eligibility and Requirements
- Hold or pursue a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited college or university.
- Graduates must have graduated after January 2026; current students must complete requirements before July 2027.
- Be on track for a minimum 2:1 degree classification or equivalent.
- Demonstrate financial-market interest, drive, innovation, analytical ability, and commercial acumen.
- Show teamwork, leadership, creativity, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments.
- Demonstrate integrity, honesty, professionalism, and the ability to multitask.
