About the role
Bank of America’s Amsterdam Investment Banking Off-Cycle Analyst internship offers exposure to industry, country and product coverage teams. You will support client solutions, financial analysis, presentations and transaction execution while receiving formal training, mentorship and on-the-job support. Strong candidates may receive full-time employment commencing in July 2028, January or April.
Responsibilities
- Work alongside bankers in industry, product and country coverage groups on client projects.
- Help deliver client solutions using the bank’s broad range of capabilities.
- Prepare client presentations and supporting financial analysis.
- Participate in transaction execution with clients, investment banks and other advisors.
- Build relationships, knowledge and experience supporting future career opportunities.
Training and development
- Complete extensive formal training at the start of the programme.
- Receive on-the-job support, educational speaker events and mentorship throughout the internship.
Eligibility and skills
- Pursue an undergraduate or postgraduate degree at an accredited college or university.
- Complete all final exams, coursework and graduation requirements between January 2026 and July 2028.
- Be on track for a minimum 2:1 degree classification or equivalent.
- Demonstrate drive, innovation and genuine interest in financial markets.
- Show teamwork, leadership, problem-solving, creativity and ability to work in fast-paced environments.
- Be able to multitask and interact effectively with a variety of people.
Recruitment and progression
- Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis after opening, with assessments potentially starting before the deadline.
- Successful interns may receive full-time employment commencing in July 2028, January or April.
- Candidates must be available for the offered start date; deferrals are not available.
