About the role
Bank of America’s Global Technology Summer Analyst programme in Bromley offers students hands-on experience delivering software solutions for financial services. Interns design, develop, test, and release applications, use technologies including Java, Python, .NET, C++, and AI-assisted tools, and receive formal training, mentorship, and on-the-job support.
Team and Programme
- Global Technology designs, develops, and supports applications serving the bank’s products across more than 30 countries.
- The programme provides experience working as a full-time Technology Analyst and contributing to real technology delivery.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain technology applications using languages and tools including Java, C++, .NET, Python, web services, and AI.
- Evaluate and promote responsible AI use across software development while following security, privacy, risk, and governance standards.
- Translate client requirements into technical specifications and support business process reengineering.
- Write code, complete unit tests, and ensure robust integration with wider applications and systems.
- Contribute to CI/CD delivery activities, including pull requests, issue triage, conflict resolution, documentation, and release notes.
Training and Development
- Receive extensive formal training at the programme’s start, alongside on-the-job support, speaker events, and mentorship.
Eligibility
- Pursue a bachelor’s or master’s degree, completing all requirements between September 2027 and July 2028.
- Be on track for a minimum 2:1 degree classification or equivalent.
- Be available to join the programme from June 2027 through August 2027.
- The listing states that visa sponsorship is available for the Bromley role.
- Successful interns may receive full-time offers commencing July 2028, with possible January or April alternatives.
