Join Bank of America’s Global Technology team as a Software Engineer Industrial Placement Analyst in Bromley. Over 12 months, you will design, develop, test, and release scalable applications, work with technical and business colleagues, and receive formal training, mentorship, speaker events, and on-the-job support.

About the team

• Global Technology designs, develops, and supports applications serving the bank’s products and services across more than 30 countries.
• Teams collaborate with technical and business colleagues to deliver scalable, performant systems aligned with strategic goals.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using technologies including Java, C++, .NET, Python, web services, and AI tools.
• Evaluate and promote responsible AI use across development while meeting security, privacy, risk, and governance standards.
• Translate client requirements into technical specifications and support business process reengineering.
• Code solutions, complete unit testing, and ensure robust integration with wider applications and systems.
• Contribute to CI/CD delivery activities, including pull requests, issue triage, conflict resolution, design documents, and release notes.
