About the role

Bank of America’s Chester Summer Analyst programme offers hands-on experience delivering cybersecurity technology solutions. Interns support information security operations, including incident response, threat detection, vulnerability management, remediation metrics, strategy and policy. The programme includes formal training, mentorship, speaker events and on-the-job support, with potential full-time employment for strong performers.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and implement cybersecurity technology solutions that help reduce information security risk.
  • Research, detect, measure and mitigate attacks targeting network and application layers.
  • Support global incident management and event management processes.
  • Produce metrics tracking cybersecurity remediation activities.
  • Contribute to vulnerability identification, vulnerability management, monitoring and incident response.
  • Support information security strategy and policy development within a team environment.

Training and Development

  • Complete extensive formal training at the beginning of the programme.
  • Receive on-the-job support, educational speaker events and mentorship throughout the internship.
  • Participate in real delivery of technology solutions as part of the Technology Analyst experience.

Eligibility

  • Have the right to work in the UK; visa sponsorship is unavailable for this role.
  • Be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree at an accredited college or university.
  • Complete all degree requirements between September 2027 and July 2028.
  • Be available to join the programme from June 2027 through August 2027.
  • Be on track for at least a 2:1 degree classification or equivalent.
  • Be available for potential full-time employment beginning July 2028, or January or April start dates.
