About the role

Six-month Global Information Security industrial placement in Dublin, offering hands-on experience as a Technology Analyst. You will contribute to cybersecurity solutions, incident and event management, vulnerability activities, security monitoring, and risk reduction, supported by formal training, mentorship, speaker events, and on-the-job development.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, implement, and use technology cybersecurity solutions to reduce information security risk.
  • Research, detect, measure, respond to, and mitigate attacks at network and application layers.
  • Support global incident management and event management processes.
  • Produce metrics tracking remediation activities.
  • Support information security strategy, policy, vulnerability identification, vulnerability management, monitoring, detection, and response.
  • Deliver innovative capabilities within a team and contribute to a specific Global Information Security group.

Training and Development

  • Receive extensive formal training at the programme start, alongside on-the-job support, speaker events, and mentorship.

Eligibility and Requirements

  • Pursue a Bachelor’s degree at an accredited college or university, completing between September 2027 and July 2028.
  • Be on track for a minimum 2:1 degree classification or equivalent.
  • Have a placement programme included in your academic curriculum.
  • Be available for full-time work for six months from either January or March 2027.
  • Show self-directed learning, technical development, motivation for technology careers, and interest in information security.
  • Demonstrate problem-solving, communication, teamwork, leadership, adaptability, integrity, professionalism, and fluent written and spoken English.

Recruitment and Progression

  • Applications are assessed on a rolling basis after opening, and assessments may begin before the deadline.
  • Strong internship performance may lead to full-time employment from July 2028; January or April starts may also be available.
  • Deferrals are not available if a full-time offer is made.
