About the role

Join Bank of America’s Global Technology team in Dublin as a Business Analyst on a six-month industrial placement. You will work with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements, support system changes, testing, implementation and issue resolution. The programme includes formal training, mentorship and on-the-job support, with possible full-time employment after successful completion.

About the Team

• Global Technology designs, develops and supports applications for the bank’s products and services across more than 30 countries.
• The team collaborates with technical and business colleagues to deliver scalable, high-performance systems aligned with strategic goals.

Responsibilities

• Engage stakeholders to understand needs, analyse problems and translate business requirements into technical requirements.
• Analyse functionality, use cases, process flows and user-interface requirements.
• Help plan system changes and identify implementation risks, issues and dependencies.
• Work with software testers to create test plans and scripts, participate in testing, and document evidence.
• Support solution implementation within agreed timelines and bank guidelines; investigate issues through resolution.
• Use approved AI capabilities responsibly to improve efficiency while managing operational, regulatory and data-related risks.

Programme and Progression

• Join one team as a full-time Technology Analyst and contribute from the beginning of the placement.
• Receive formal training, on-the-job support, educational speaker events and mentorship.
• Successful participants may receive full-time offers from July 2028, with some January or April start dates available.
