About the role

The Dublin Global Operations Summer Analyst Programme provides experience supporting Global Markets Operations across the trade lifecycle. Interns may work on settlement, reconciliation, controls, data analysis, process improvement, project delivery, and stakeholder reporting. Formal and on-the-job training, mentoring, networking, and hands-on projects support development.

Team and Role

• Global Operations manages systems and platforms supporting products, services, and client transactions.
• Global Markets Operations supports sales, trading, and underwriting activities across securities, loans, and derivatives.
• Teams cover trade processing, settlement, reconciliation, collateral management, and client servicing across the trade lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Learn client, account, and product reference data management processes.
• Support settlement, clearing, and reconciliation activities across products and services.
• Develop knowledge of trade validation, maintenance, exception management, and reconciliation.
• Analyse data, identify trends, and contribute to process reviews and operational excellence initiatives.
• Support risk management, controls, governance, regulatory requirements, project delivery, and stakeholder engagement.
• Prepare reports, dashboards, presentations, and updates for business partners and senior stakeholders.

Training and Development

• Receive extensive formal training at the start of the programme.
• Complete on-the-job training, virtual spotlight sessions, and hands-on project work.
• Participate in Executive Speaker Series events and networking opportunities.
• Receive mentorship throughout the programme.

Eligibility and Requirements

• Pursue a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree at an accredited college or university.
• Expected completion must be between September 2027 and July 2028, with no outstanding graduation requirements.
• Be on track for a minimum 2:2 degree classification or equivalent.
• Be available to join the programme from June 2027 to August 2027.
• Demonstrate motivation for an Operations career, self-learning, technical development, analytical thinking, and problem-solving.
• Show effective communication, teamwork, leadership, professionalism, integrity, and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Recruitment and Potential Outcome

• Strong internship performance may lead to full-time employment commencing in July 2028.
