About the role

Global Operations Summer Analyst internship in Chester, supporting teams across Global Markets Operations or Data, Reporting & Operations Management. The programme offers hands-on work across transaction processing, controls, reporting, reconciliation, process improvement and change delivery, alongside formal training, mentoring and networking. Teams

• Global Operations manages systems and platforms supporting products, services and client transactions throughout their lifecycles.
• Global Markets Operations supports sales, trading and underwriting activities across securities, loans and derivative products.
• Data, Reporting & Operations Management delivers governance, regulatory reporting, operational excellence and transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of client, account and product reference data management processes.
• Support settlement, clearing and reconciliation activities across products and services.
• Build knowledge of trade validation, maintenance, exception management and other lifecycle processes.
• Analyse data, identify trends and contribute to business insights, process reviews and operational excellence initiatives.
• Develop understanding of risk management, controls, governance and regulatory requirements.
• Support project delivery, business analysis, stakeholder engagement, and preparation of reports, dashboards and presentations.

Training and Development

• Receive formal programme training, on-the-job training, virtual sessions, executive speaker events, networking and hands-on project work.
• Mentorship is provided throughout the programme.

Recruitment and Progression
