About the role

Bank of America’s Global Operations Summer Analyst Programme in Bromley offers experience across Global Credit Operations or Data, Reporting & Operations Management. Interns analyse data, support controls and transformation, prepare business updates, and develop operational expertise through formal training, mentoring and project work. The programme runs from June to August 2027.

Programme

  • Placement in Global Credit Operations or Data, Reporting & Operations Management, based on interests and business needs.
  • Global Credit Operations supports credit products and transactions throughout their lifecycle across EMEA.
  • Data, Reporting & Operations Management supports change delivery, governance, regulatory reporting and operational excellence.
  • Successful interns may receive a full-time offer commencing July 2028, with some January or April start options.

Responsibilities

  • Build knowledge of products, services and operational processes supporting the bank and its clients.
  • Analyse data, identify trends and contribute to insights, process reviews and operational excellence initiatives.
  • Develop understanding of risk management, controls, governance and regulatory requirements.
  • Support project delivery, business analysis and stakeholder engagement activities.
  • Prepare reports, dashboards, presentations and updates for business partners and senior stakeholders.
  • Gain exposure to credit transaction lifecycles or strategic transformation, governance and regulatory reporting.

Training and Development

  • Complete extensive formal training at the beginning of the programme.
  • Receive on-the-job training, virtual spotlight sessions and executive speaker sessions.
  • Participate in networking events, hands-on project work and ongoing mentorship.

Requirements

  • Pursue a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree at an accredited college or university.
  • Complete all graduation requirements between September 2027 and July 2028.
  • Be on track for a minimum 2:2 degree classification or equivalent.
  • Be available to join the programme from June 2027 to August 2027.
  • Demonstrate motivation for an Operations career within financial services and evidence of self-learning.
  • Show analytical, communication, teamwork, leadership, integrity and prioritisation skills in a fast-paced environment.
