About the role
The 2027 Global Markets Sales & Trading Summer Associate Program, based in New York, combines formal training with team assignments across fixed-income or equity markets. Participants focus on a specific product area and may gain exposure to sales, trading, origination, structuring, and quantitative analysis while supporting transactions, research, modelling, and trade execution.
Program Structure
- Formal training is followed by assignments with a specific Global Markets team.
- Placements cover fixed-income or equity markets and may include sales, trading, origination, structuring, or quantitative analysis.
- Summer associates focus on a specific product area within the broader Global Markets group.
Responsibilities
- Handle day-to-day transaction needs, including reconciliation and clearing services.
- Help educate clients about complex structures and technical products.
- Support new product development and bringing products to market.
- Analyze markets, trends, trading strategies, models, and performance enhancements quantitatively.
- Assist with sales, trading, hedging, origination, structuring, pricing, modelling, and trade execution.
- Research complex products, trends, hedges, and alpha strategies using large financial datasets.
