About the role

The Global Markets Securitised Products Group summer analyst programme offers rotations across real estate structured finance and asset-backed securities/residential mortgage-backed securities finance. Analysts support transactions, client materials, credit analysis, structured credit modelling, market assessments and client meetings, with formal training, mentorship and potential full-time employment.

Team and Programme

• Work within Global Markets Securitised Products Group, providing secured funding solutions backed by diverse asset classes.
• Complete assignments across Real Estate Structured Finance and Asset Backed Securities Finance businesses.
• Cover clients including banks, private equity firms, specialist lenders and asset managers.

Responsibilities

• Assist with transaction monitoring, deal preparation and day-to-day transaction requirements.
• Prepare client pitch books, marketing materials and internal credit papers.
• Learn to analyse credit risk and model structured credit transactions.
• Attend client meetings while building professional networks and experience.
• Assess market trends and provide quantitative data to the team.

Training and Progression

• Receive extensive formal training at programme commencement, alongside on-the-job support.
• Participate in educational speaker events and receive mentorship throughout the programme.
• Strong internship performance may lead to full-time employment commencing July 2028.
• Some business areas may offer January or April 2028 start dates; deferrals are unavailable.
