About the role

Global Markets Chief Operating Office Summer Analyst in Paris supports projects, business analysis, management materials, data, regulatory documentation, and risk and control initiatives. The internship provides formal training, mentorship, and exposure to products, data, and global partners. Strong analytical, quantitative, teamwork, integrity, and communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

  • Join a Global Markets COO business line and support initiatives, projects, and day-to-day activities.
  • Deliver and present at least one key project at the end of the internship.
  • Analyse qualitative and quantitative data, business metrics, and management information.
  • Prepare senior-management presentations and materials for internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain complex spreadsheets and databases while managing multiple projects.
  • Document and review regulatory and other legally required documentation.

Team and Exposure

  • Work closely with Global Markets COO colleagues, senior leaders, and business partners worldwide.
  • Gain exposure to products, data, regulatory initiatives, business strategy, project management, risk, and controls.
  • Support efforts to improve business efficiency, governance, and readiness for future opportunities and challenges.

Training and Progression

  • Receive extensive formal training at the programme’s start, alongside on-the-job support and mentorship.
  • Attend educational speaker events throughout the internship.
  • Successful interns may receive full-time offers starting in July 2028, with some January or April starts available.
  • Candidates accepting an offer must be available for the offered start date; deferrals are unavailable.
