About the role

The Global Markets Chief Operating Office Summer Analyst internship in London supports strategy, projects, business performance, data, regulatory initiatives, risk and controls. Interns gain exposure to Global Markets products and work with business partners and senior leaders while delivering a project and analytical work.

Role and team

• Join a Global Markets COO line of business supporting initiatives, projects and day-to-day activities.
• Work across client and business strategy, data, project management, risk and controls.
• Connect with business partners worldwide and gain exposure to products, data and regulatory initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Complete and present at least one key project at the end of the internship.
• Perform analytical tasks using qualitative and quantitative data.
• Communicate with team members and senior leaders across Global Markets COO teams.
• Prepare senior management presentations and other materials for internal stakeholders.
• Manage multiple projects effectively, both independently and as part of a team.
• Maintain complex spreadsheets and databases; review regulatory and legally required documentation.

Recruitment and progression

• Applications and assessments take place on a rolling basis once applications open.
• Assessments may begin before the application deadline, so early submission is encouraged.
• Successful interns may receive full-time employment commencing in July 2028, January or April.
• Deferrals are not available for candidates offered full-time employment.
