About the role

The Paris-based Off-Cycle Analyst will join Bank of America’s Western Europe Financial Institutions Group, supporting relationship management, financing origination and transaction execution. The internship provides exposure to banks, insurers, asset managers and private equity firms, with work spanning credit proposals, client pitches, treasury solutions, risk management and collaboration across banking product teams.

About the Team

• The Financial Institutions Group serves major Western European banks, insurers, asset managers and private equity firms.
• Bankers manage senior client relationships and coordinate financing, treasury and risk management solutions across product teams.

Responsibilities

• Support relationship management, origination and execution across loan and bond financing, trade finance and cash management.
• Assist with live transactions, credit proposals, loan documentation, credit renewals and legal aspects of debt instruments.
• Prepare client pitches, relationship overviews, credentials, peer analysis, company profiles and quarterly business review materials.
• Support pipeline tracking, client material discussions, know-your-customer activities and other ad hoc tasks.
• Collaborate with Capital Markets, Payment Solutions and Global Markets teams on client coverage and origination.
• Develop understanding of Financial Institutions Group clients, their subsectors and banking requirements.

Training and Development

• Receive extensive formal training at programme commencement, alongside on-the-job support, speaker events and mentorship.
• Training topics include artificial intelligence, financial crime knowledge and credit analysis.
