About the role

The off-cycle Analyst programme places you in Bank of America’s Debt Capital Markets team in Paris, supporting clients with debt financing solutions across EMEA. You will contribute to advisory, structuring, presentations, live transactions and execution, while receiving formal training, mentorship and on-the-job support.

Responsibilities

  • Work with product specialists and senior clients to create and deliver tailored debt financing solutions.
  • Analyse market fundamentals and contribute to financing strategies addressing specific client needs.
  • Prepare client presentations covering general corporate and acquisition financing solutions.
  • Support live transactions and collaborate with professionals across the bank.
  • Partner with Investment Banking, Corporate Banking and GCM teams on coverage, origination and holistic financing advice.
  • Coordinate deal execution with Global Markets sales and trading teams, while monitoring developments through Global Research.

Team and Products

  • Debt Capital Markets supports clients seeking new debt financing through advisory, structuring and execution solutions.
  • Products include bonds, loans, capital products, liability management, and foreign exchange and rates solutions.
  • Clients include corporates, financial institutions, private equity firms, and sovereign, supranational and sovereign issuers.
  • The broader Global Capital Markets business also includes Equity Capital Markets, Leveraged Finance and Sustainable Solutions Group.

Training and Development

  • Formal training is provided at the start of the programme.
  • On-the-job support, educational speaker events and mentorship continue throughout the programme.

Recruitment Process

  • Analyst internship and full-time recruitment takes place on a rolling basis once applications open.
  • Assessments may begin before the deadline, so early application is recommended.
  • Successful interns may be offered full-time employment starting in July 2028.
  • Some business areas may offer January or April start dates; deferrals are unavailable.
