About the role
The GCIB Credit Summer Analyst internship in Frankfurt offers hands-on experience within Corporate, Financial Institutions, or Leveraged Finance credit teams. You will assess counterparty credit risk, prepare credit documentation, present recommendations, and support Enterprise Credit initiatives through formal training, mentorship, and on-the-job development.
Responsibilities
- Perform qualitative and quantitative credit analysis to assess counterparty credit risk.
- Prepare detailed credit memos and risk-rating scorecards for new and existing clients.
- Present recommendations to senior colleagues in written and verbal formats.
- Support in-flight projects and initiatives aligned with the Enterprise Credit mandate.
Programme and Training
- Work on the desk, completing actual deliverables and adding tangible value to the department.
- Receive extensive formal training at the programme’s start.
- Benefit from on-the-job support, educational speaker events, and mentorship throughout the internship.
