Financial Management Full Time 2027 Analyst - Chester

About the role

Join Bank of America’s two-year Financial Management Analyst Programme in Chester, rotating across CFO functions including financial planning, management accounting, data management and treasury. Analysts support financial analysis, control, stakeholder reporting and process improvement while developing business acumen and completing the CIMA Finance Leadership Programme toward CGMA designation.

Programme

• Complete two one-year rotations across financial and management accounting, corporate finance, data management and internal treasury.
• Support the CFO Group’s overall financial management, accuracy, control and timely information for internal and external stakeholders.
• Undertake the CIMA Finance Leadership Programme, which grants the Chartered Global Management Accountant designation upon completion.
• Potential teams include Business Finance Control, Data Management, Global Liquidity Management, Financial Planning and Analysis, and Operational Risk and Control.

Responsibilities

• Forecast financial and non-financial trends, develop models and analyse business investments.
• Support internal financial planning and management accounting activities across the CFO Group.
• Present financial data and analysis to business partners and key stakeholders.
• Use emerging technologies to simplify and improve processes across the CFO Group.
• Build relationships with finance executives, alumni and colleagues across different lines of business.
• Lead or participate in projects and committees to develop leadership skills.

Training and Development

• Receive extensive formal training at programme commencement, alongside on-the-job support and mentorship.
• Attend in-person, online and expert-led sessions covering data analysis, data acquisition, banking mechanics and executive presentations.
• Participate in executive speaker series, educational events and networking opportunities.

Eligibility and Skills

• Pursue a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, completing all requirements between September 2026 and July 2027.
• Be on track for at least a 2:1 degree classification or equivalent.
• Have UK work authorisation; visa sponsorship is unavailable for the Chester role.
• Be available to join in January, April or July 2027.
