About the role
Ten-week Corporate Audit summer internship in Dublin, supporting independent assessments of risk management, processes and controls across Bank of America’s Global Banking and Markets businesses. Interns receive formal training, mentorship and senior-leader exposure while developing audit, analytical, communication and business skills. Strong performers may receive full-time employment offers.
Responsibilities
- Develop core skills in audit practices, methodology and business expertise.
- Support planned audit coverage by testing key processes and controls across the company.
- Write risk-focused conclusions explaining audit results to senior management.
- Build understanding of bank products, control functions, and risk and control frameworks.
- Complete a group project on a current or emerging risk topic.
Programme and Training
- Participate in the 10-week Corporate Audit Summer Analyst Program from June to August 2027.
- Receive extensive formal training at programme start, plus on-the-job support and mentorship.
- Attend educational speaker events and gain exposure to internal auditing and senior leaders.
- Work with the EMEA Corporate Audit team across London, Dublin, Chester, Paris and Istanbul.
Eligibility and Selection
- Pursue a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree at an accredited college or university.
- Complete all graduation requirements between September 2027 and July 2028.
- Be on track for a minimum 2:1 degree classification or equivalent.
- Demonstrate self-learning, technical development, problem-solving, communication, teamwork and leadership capabilities.
- Show motivation for an audit career, critical thinking, integrity, sound judgement and professionalism.
- Be fluent in written and spoken English and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Recruitment and Progression

- Assessments may begin before the deadline, so early application is recommended.
- Successful interns may receive full-time employment offers commencing in July 2028.
- Some business areas may offer January or April start dates; deferrals are unavailable.
