About the role

Two-year, full-time development program preparing future Bank of America leaders through strategic initiatives, innovation, and management experience. Associates join Strategy & Business Ventures, support multiple business units, develop general manager capabilities, and work with senior leaders and industry experts across FinTech, product innovation, client experience, and business intelligence.

Program Responsibilities

  • Drive strategic growth initiatives across Consumer & Small Business and other core business units.
  • Develop, test, launch, and operationalize strategies that better serve clients.
  • Support initiatives spanning FinTech, product innovation, client segmentation, and client experience.
  • Work cross-functionally with senior leaders across multiple business units and organizations.
  • Use emerging technologies including AI, cloud, automation, and personalization to evolve the business.

Training And Development

  • Complete a comprehensive curriculum taught by Bank of America and industry experts.
  • Build capabilities in research, modeling, presentations, problem-solving methodologies, data visualization, and storytelling.
  • Gain experience in strategy, innovation, management, digital technologies, and FinTech.
  • Develop general manager capabilities through high-fidelity learning opportunities and varied assignments.

Required Qualifications

  • Pursue an MBA or master's degree at an accredited college or university.
  • Graduate between November 2026 and August 2027.
  • Have three to five years of work experience between bachelor's and MBA or master's study.
  • Demonstrate logical reasoning, problem-solving, analytical, critical-thinking, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Build relationships, collaborate effectively, and support learning, innovation, integrity, flexibility, and intelligent risk-taking.
  • Cannot require visa sponsorship now or in the future for this role.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum preferred GPA of 3.2.
  • Study management, economics, finance, consulting, mathematics, data analysis, FinTech, marketing, or related fields.
  • Experience conducting qualitative and quantitative research.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Experience leading projects or participating in high-performing teams and organizations.

Program Logistics

  • Primary location is Charlotte, North Carolina; Boston and New York have limited availability based on business needs.
  • Full-time schedule with 40 hours per week on the first shift.
  • Travel is required on an as-needed basis.
  • Candidates offered full-time opportunities following an internship must be geographically flexible.
