Latin America Investment Banking Summer Associate Program – 2027

About the role

The 2027 Latin America Global Investment Banking Summer Associate Program in New York offers MBA candidates experience supporting capital raising and strategic advisory transactions. Associates develop financial models, conduct valuation and industry research, prepare client materials, participate in diligence, and collaborate with deal teams while receiving formal training, mentorship, and on-the-job support.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain complex financial models.
• Perform financial analyses, including valuations and merger consequences.
• Conduct comprehensive company and industry research.
• Prepare presentations and other materials for Latin America clients.
• Participate in due diligence sessions and communicate with deal team members.
• Manage multiple projects independently and collaboratively.

Training and Development

• Complete extensive formal training at the start of the program.
• Receive on-the-job support, educational speaker events, and mentorship throughout the program.

Requirements

• Pursue an MBA at an accredited university, graduating between November 2027 and August 2028.
• Be fluent in Spanish and/or Portuguese, both orally and in writing.
• Demonstrate interest in or experience working with Latin America.
• Show superior performance in extracurricular and professional activities.
• Demonstrate quantitative, analytical, communication, strategic-thinking, and client-focused skills.
• Show initiative, leadership, assertiveness, attention to detail, teamwork, adaptability, and a strong work ethic.
