About the role

The two-year Finance Management Analyst Program offers two one-year rotations across Bank of America’s CFO Group. Participants develop skills in financial and management accounting, corporate and strategic finance, treasury, forecasting, analysis, stakeholder communication, and process improvement through projects, formal training, mentorship, and on-the-job learning.

Responsibilities

  • Forecast financial and non-financial trends, develop models, and analyze business investments.
  • Support internal financial planning and management accounting functions.
  • Present financial data and analysis to business partners and key stakeholders.
  • Use emerging technologies to simplify and improve CFO Group processes.
  • Build knowledge of bank products, strategies, culture, operational excellence, and CFO priorities.
  • Lead or participate in projects, committees, and networking activities across business lines.

Rotations

  • Complete two one-year rotations across different teams within the CFO Group.
  • Potential teams include Corporate Treasury, Global Financial Control, and Strategic Forecasting and Expense Management.
  • Other opportunities include CFO governance, data management, banking and markets finance, and technology finance.
  • Rotations depend on business needs and alignment with the participant’s skill set; placement is not guaranteed.

Training And Development

  • Receive extensive formal training at the beginning of the program.
  • Access on-the-job support, mentorship, speaker series, educational events, and networking opportunities.
  • Training topics include bank mechanics, data literacy, and executive-ready presentations.
  • Participate in employee networks and community service opportunities.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or accelerated 4+1 degree program at an accredited college or university.
  • Final graduation date must fall between November 2026 and August 2027.
  • Preferred GPA is 3.2 or higher.
  • Demonstrate financial and accounting knowledge, including financial statements, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including basic formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
  • Demonstrate analytical, problem-solving, communication, teamwork, adaptability, and willingness to learn.
