Global Markets Sales and Trading 2027 Off-Cycle Analyst - Stockholm

About the role

Bank of America’s 3–6-month Global Markets internship provides intensive exposure to a single Sales and Trading desk in Stockholm. Interns support Sales, Trading, or Structuring teams, analyse markets and client data, develop practical risk-management knowledge, and receive formal training, mentorship, and on-the-job support.

Programme

• Work within a fast-paced Global Markets environment, supported by a manager, buddy, mentor, and HR.
• Gain intensive exposure to Sales, Trading, or Structuring activities on a single desk.
• Potentially receive a full-time employment offer starting in July 2028, or January or April 2028.

Responsibilities

• Support sales teams with client relationship management, marketing materials, presentations, market research, and profitability analysis.
• Support traders by analysing client and market data, monitoring events, and helping develop and execute trades.
• Learn risk management and market making through senior-team shadowing and mock trading activities.
• Support structurers, traders, and sales teams with client solutions, pitchbooks, transaction analysis, and product exposure.
• Analyse topical themes across Equities, Rates, FX, and Credit, collaborating with Quants, Research, and other stakeholders.
• Track macroeconomic, market, company, and industry events and provide solutions for institutional clients.

Eligibility and Skills

• Be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree at an accredited college or university.
• Complete all final exams, coursework, and graduation requirements between September 2027 and July 2028.
• Be on track for a minimum 2:1 degree classification or equivalent.
• Demonstrate drive, innovation, genuine interest in financial markets, analytical ability, and problem-solving skills.

Recruitment and Development

• Complete extensive formal training at the programme’s start, supplemented by on-the-job support and educational speaker events.
• Receive ongoing mentorship throughout the programme.
• Recruitment occurs on a rolling basis once applications open, and assessments may begin before the deadline.
• Applicants must be available for the offered start date; deferrals are not available.
